PORTABLE POWER STATION FAQ

1. What is the peak power of the FPG3600?

The FPG3600 has a published peak power specification of up to 20,000W, designed to handle short startup surges from compressors, motors, pumps and professional power tools.

2. Why did the laboratory test capture 24.08kW?

During air-compressor startup, the oscilloscope captured 209.419V and 115A, equivalent to approximately 24.08kW. This was a momentary laboratory measurement, not the continuous or published peak output rating.

3. What is the rated output power of the FPG3600?

The FPG3600 provides 3,600W rated continuous output with a 230V pure sine wave, making it suitable for many construction tools, maintenance equipment and professional loads.

4. Can the FPG3600 start a 4kW air compressor?

The laboratory test demonstrated the FPG3600 supporting the startup surge of a 4kW air compressor. Actual compatibility depends on the compressor’s voltage, starting current, operating power and startup method.

5. How was the temperature performance tested?

The unit was stored for 12 hours at −16°C and 55°C before monitored load testing. Under the recorded test conditions, it operated without fault alarms.

6. Does the temperature test represent the operating temperature range?

No. The −16°C and 55°C figures refer to controlled storage-test conditions shown in the video. Users should follow the official operating and storage temperature specifications in the product manual.

7. Why is peak power important for a portable power station?

Motors, compressors, pumps and some power tools can require much more power during startup than during normal operation. Sufficient peak power helps prevent startup failure or protection shutdown.

8. Are laboratory test results guaranteed for every application?

Laboratory results demonstrate performance under specific test conditions. Actual results may vary depending on load type, battery level, ambient temperature, wiring, outlet configuration and equipment startup characteristics.
